Notes:The NEC D7809B (here in the unusual ceramic - gold topped 64 pin QUIP package) is a member of the NEC's 78xx family of 8bit microcontrollers based upon a revision of the Z80 architecture. 78xx have a number of integrated peripherals and memories, such as timers, USART, A/D converters and so on. They were widely used in embedded applications (printers, copiers...) during 80s and early 90s.
